Five studios · One canvas · Browser-based

Take it apart.
Put it back together.

Divix is five generative graphics studios sharing one canvas — split-mirror compositions on vector shapes, a dithering studio, a flocking simulation, a line-scan reveal tool and a clone-stamp editor. Five different ways to break an image down and rebuild it.

5 studios in one
21 presets in DIVIX
14 built-in shapes
SVG PNG · MP4 · SVG export

Made with Divix

One toolkit,
many visual languages.

Every workspace speaks a different dialect, all rendered from the same shared core.

The workspaces

5 engines.
One studio.

Switch from a single tab bar. Each is an isolated sketch with its own control panel — but they share palettes, presets and export.

DIVIX

Free

Split-mirror graphics

Split-mirror compositions on built-in or uploaded SVG shapes, with noise-driven scale, move and rotate transforms, LCH palette transitions and XOR cutout modes. 21 presets.

DIFUSO

Pro

Dithering studio

Image and video dithering on a WebGL pipeline — ASCII glyph rendering, RGB and CMYK halftone, ordered Bayer and blue-noise dithering.

BANDADA

Free

Flocking simulation

Boids-style flocking with vector or image-textured agents. Tunable alignment, cohesion, separation and vision forces, with wrap-around or repel-from-edge behaviour.

SONDEO

Pro

Line-scan reveal

Sweep a source image horizontally or vertically into a result canvas, side-by-side or layered, with a freehand mask to control what gets revealed.

CLON

Free

Clone-stamp editor

Sample a region — free, 1:1, or from a rendered buffer — and stamp it as rectangles, ellipses or triangles on a snapping grid.

The shared engine

Different outputs.
Same DNA.

One architecture behind every workspace. Everything you learn in one carries to the next.

1

p5.js instance mode

Each studio is an isolated sketch, code-split and lazy-loaded on first open. Heavy libraries load only when the studio that needs them does.

2

Shared design system

One CSS layer and a declarative control-panel builder drive every studio, so a control means the same thing wherever you meet it.

3

Autosave per studio

Every studio keeps its own state in localStorage. Leave mid-composition and it is still there when you come back.

The full rack

24 modules.
5 workspaces.

Every generator, filter and colour engine on board.

What's new

Shipped,
and still shipping.

Divix updates in place — open it and you have the latest.

  1. 1.0.1

    Signing in works again.

    • Fixed Sign in, which did nothing at all when clicked.
    • Pro can be subscribed to again — with sign-in broken, there was no way to reach checkout.
  2. 1.0.0

The move to divix.legenki.com is complete.

    • Fixed SVG export and uploading your own SVG shape, both broken since the move.
    • Fixed MP4 export, which had stopped for the same reason.
    • Links to Divix now show a preview image when shared.
  3. 0.9.0

    Divix gets its own address.

    • The studio now lives at divix.legenki.com instead of a path on a shared domain.
    • The monthly price now reads $8, matching what Stripe actually charges.
    • Accounts moved onto the shared studio engine, closing a hole where a hand-edited preset file could corrupt the page it was loaded into.
  4. 0.8.0

Accounts and Pro — and one studio withdrawn.

    • Sign in with Google and subscribe through Stripe. DIFUSO and SONDEO, the exports, SVG import and the Pro presets sit behind the subscription; DIVIX, BANDADA and CLON stay free.
    • Subscriptions now update on their own when Stripe reports a renewal or a cancellation.
    • SILUETA is withdrawn — it did not earn its place next to the other five.
    • Fixed the preset dropdown falling out of step with a restored session, and custom shapes coming back empty after a reload.
  5. 0.7.0

SILUETA — posters out of a photograph.

    • Pulls silhouettes out of an image and lays type around them, avoiding what it found.
    • Renders them as pixelate or halftone, with inks weighted by darkness.
    • Exports the result as a real vector SVG rather than a traced bitmap.
  6. 0.6.0

    Lighter, and finally centred.

    • The canvas centres correctly in every studio — the old half-a-canvas drift is gone.
    • Idle GPU work cut, vendor libraries loaded per studio, previews rendered lighter.
    • SONDEO gets a restyled scan line, and its grain control, which quietly did nothing, now works.
  7. 0.5.1

    Small corrections.

    • Fixed the canvas ratio and the default texture in the shipped presets.
  8. 0.5.0

    One canvas across five studios.

    • Canvas sizing, scaling and centring now behave the same in every studio.
    • BANDADA takes an uploaded image as its agent texture, and its Shape Type control actually changes the agents.
    • Fixed the canvas cropping itself and losing its aspect ratio after a reload.
    • Works offline once you have opened it.
  9. 0.4.1

Export Size now means what it says.

    • Export Size (px) sets the resolution you actually get, in DIVIX and BANDADA.
  10. 0.4.0

    DIFUSO takes 3D objects.

    • Upload an .obj or .stl, or drop it on the canvas, and dither a rotating object instead of a photo.
    • MP4 export defaults to 30fps — smaller files, smoother playback.
    • Exports now come from the full-resolution canvas rather than the on-screen preview.
    • Buttons that never did anything are gone.
  11. 0.3.0

    BANDADA, SONDEO and CLON arrive.

    • Flocking simulation, line-scan reveal and a clone-stamp editor join the studio.
    • Export overhaul — high-resolution PNG, smooth MP4, and the crashes on export are fixed.
    • One panel language across every studio, and the presets are wired the same way everywhere.
    • DERIVA is dropped.
  12. 0.2.0

    DIFUSO — the dithering studio.

    • ASCII glyphs, RGB and CMYK halftone, ordered Bayer and blue-noise dithering on a WebGL pipeline.
    • Feed it a still image or a video file.
  13. 0.1.0

First release — the DIVIX studio.

    • Split-mirror compositions on 14 built-in shapes or an SVG of your own.
    • Noise-driven scale, move and rotate transforms, LCH palette transitions and XOR cutout modes.
    • 21 presets, 1000-colour palettes, PNG, MP4 and SVG export.
